You should feel better now, I hope. Congratulations to Coach Jacobsen and the Panthers for a great year as reg. season co-champs and tournament champions. Your guys showed excellent character and strength in fending off a very motivated & talented ISU team in BOTH the championship game and the next-to-last game of the season. Hats off to them and their fans. Now we need to concentrate on the MVC as a whole and hope that Creighton's record (11-1 run at end of year; 33 RPI; conference's 9 RPI; quality wins over New Mexico, Dayton & George Mason plus good wins during the last winning streak over the Redbirds and your Panthers) is enough to make them the 2nd Valley team getting into the Big Dance. Go Jays! and Go Panthers!

I'm shocked that Northern Iowa has folded in the last few games of the regular season. In my opinion, they have the best players in the conference and performed very well in the first half of the season. To allow teams to beat them as badly as they have in the last four games of the season really suprises me. I didn't get a chance to see them play but would love to hear other opinions as to what happened. Guess we will see in the tournament this weekend.
